在Hf首個線上藝術展覽《LOVE IS LOVE》，我們特別邀請到CASA OF LOVE創辦人Kayla Wong（王曼喜）參與展出她的攝影作品。Kayla於2015年成立公平貿易的時裝品牌Basics for Basics，除此以外她同時積極推動香港LGBTQI+社群的發展；以攝影師的身份，盡力描繪這個群體的故事，因為她相信：「我們都是一樣的。我們都渴望愛的溫暖，每一種愛都不應被歧視。」。而Kayla對攝影的鍾愛，原來是源自一段美好的童年記憶！這次，我們與Kayla談談愛，說說攝影。

HF：請用一句介紹自己。
K：我叫Kayla，是可持續時裝品牌Basics for Basics的創辦人及創意總監。
My name is Kayla and I’m the founder and creative director of sustainable fashion brand Basics for Basics.

HF：你的性取向是什麼？
K：我是一位同性戀者。
I identify myself as a Lesbian.

HF：對你而言，「身份」一詞代表什麼？
K：「身份」是透過自我感知，找到塑造自我的核心價值。
Identity is how you perceive yourself. The core values that make up who you are.

HF：在生活裡，「藝術」對你來說意味著什麼？
K：藝術是無形、流動的狀態，是一個媒介。人透過藝術跨越安舒區，以另一個方式認識自己的生命旅程。
It is a free form that allows anyone to step out of their comfort zone and to find alternative ways for people to understand their journey.

HF：你是如何開始攝影？
K：從小看著爸爸為我們拍照，慢慢培養了攝影的興趣。現在我透過鏡頭訴說彩虹群體裡女性的故事。
I started at a young age watching my dad shoot us all the time. Now my purpose is to tell the stories of the LGBTQ community focusing on women.

HF：對你而言，「愛」一詞代表什麼？
K：愛是一切的本質，它超越這個世界上任何其他事物。
Love is the essence in everything I do. It is bigger than anything else in this world.

HF：對你而言，「驕傲」一詞代表什麼？
K：「驕傲」首先是對開創者的回憶。他們為彩虹奮鬥，我們才能夠享受今日的權益。「驕傲」也是生命的慶典。
Pride is first and foremost a remembrance of the people that came before us, how they fought for us and how far we’ve come. It is also a celebration of all human life.

HF：LBGTQIA +身份如何影響你的藝術作品？
K：LGBTQIA是我工作的重心。每次拍攝過程中都從模特身上學到很多，作為攝影師我的任務是盡力描繪他們的故事，讓他人理解。
LGBTQIA is my focus when it comes to my work. I learn a lot from every encounter and I try my best to portray their stories so that others can understand.

HF：請跟我們分享一個你想在藝術／攝影作品中傳達的信息。
K：我們都是一樣的。我們都渴望愛的溫暖，每一種愛都不應被歧視。
That we are all the same. We all crave the warmth of love and no one love should be discriminated.
