Autumn Colour: 内藏山, 韩国秋色之旅

Autumn colours are full in bloom in Korea. The trees are bright in vivid colors and the leaves rattle as breeze flows. Hf’s Korean editor visited Naejangasan, the to-go place for fall colours on a family trip. Follow me for a journey through the spectacular view!

秋色已在韩国每个地方完全绽放，树木都染上鲜艳的颜色，叶子也随风作响。Hf韩国编辑这趟带大家游走内藏山——这个适合一家大小来旅行和欣赏秋色的地方，快跟紧我们的步伐吧！

Naejangsan(내장산/内藏山) is located near Jeongeup city, in the North Jeolla Province of Korea. The mountain is best known for its spectacular autumn colors from the ticket office to Naejang temple, and attracts 10 million visitors daily during the peak season. Located in Naejangsan National Park, the mountain has waterfalls, temples and its most famous autumn which has been around for more than 500 years.

During the peak season, access to the mountain becomes quite hard. The parking lots usually get filled up before 9am and nearby roads get packed with cars. The parking lots are located far away from the entrance to the mountain so expect some walk from the car park. However, the wonderful view to the entrance will make the long walk all worth it.

内藏山邻近全罗北道井邑市，其壮丽的景色由票务处一直延伸至内藏寺，於高峰时期，每天会有约1000万游客。在内藏山国家公园内，还有瀑布和寺庙，全都有超过500年历史。

要是你在高峰时期登山恐怕有些困难，因为在早上9时前停车场已经泊满了车，而停车场与入口有一段距离，所以还是要走一段路，不过当你看见这样美的景色，再辛苦也是值得的。

The way to the mountain was bustling with people even early in the morning. Buses from everywhere filled with tourists were hastily arriving at the mountain. The entrance fee was 3,000 won for adults. A discounted price for groups over 30 people is available. 

Naejangsan is famous for the walk from the ticket booth to Naejang temple. Needless to say, the view was so enthralling that the editor couldn’t help but stop several times to take photos. A photo will do a million times better than words!

即使你早点去，通往山上的路还是会挤满了人，一辆辆载满游客的巴士络绎不绝。内藏山的入场费为3000韩圜，若是30人以上会有折扣优惠。

内藏山最有名的游览路线是由票务处至内藏寺，由於沿途的景色实在太迷人，小编也忍不住停了好几次拍照留念呢！ 一张相片总胜过千言万语吧！

Upon the arrival at Naejang temple, the autumn colors take on a different look by harmonizing with the traditional architectures. The colorful lanterns, ponds and temples all blend into one scenic image on a camera lens. One thing to note, though, is that Korean temples have a well to go by. The water is fresh and plastic cups are provided.

到达内藏寺後，传统的建筑让景色变得不一样，却又毫不违和，色彩缤纷的灯笼丶池塘与寺庙，在镜头下融合成一张优美的图像。不得不提，韩国的寺庙通常都会有许愿池，那里的水十分清新，还可以喝一口呢！

There is a way to spice up the maple tree viewing by hopping on the cable car. It is a 2.5km walk from the mountain entrance to the cable car ticket office. On weekends, especially during peak hours, an hour long waiting line will be formed, so get there early as possible to avoid the crowd. The cable car ride provides a broader scenic view of the mountain. It is recommended to take the cable car to the top, then walk down for a brief hike.

One last spot not to miss is Uhwajeong pavilion surrounded by a lake. The reflections on the water combined with variegated autumn colors of the mountain create a magnificent scene.

想欣赏更美的红叶景色的话，不妨坐一下缆车，由入口走2.5公里便到缆车售票处。在周末或碰上高峰时期，1个小时的等候也是走不掉的，想避开人潮的话就要早点去罗！ 在缆车中你可到整座山的景色，当到达山顶後，可以慢慢走下来当作远足。

最後一个景点是被湖包围着的羽化亭，班驳的秋色与湖水的倒影融为一体形成美丽的景象。

A day trip to Naejangsan offered a quite yet bustling getaway from the city. An additional tip though, would be to include Jeonju in the trip, an hour-away city most famous for its traditional structures and awesome food to get the most out of your Korea trip.
