近年，女生的刺青取向總離不開小清新及搞怪系。雖然款式千變萬化，而每個設計師都有獨突的風格。但除著數量愈多，風格也開始漸漸相似。現在，也是時候尋找新刺青來衝擊視覺了！不知你有否聽過女巫刺青（witch tattoo）呢？

看到彎彎曲曲的小路，密密麻麻的樹木山丘，是否如同觀看著古老的故事書呢？來自美國的Noel’le Longhaul，身兼紋身師、藝術家及民俗音樂家三職，更自稱為「性別表現不一致者」：「I am a gender-nonconforming person that uses they/them/theirs or she/her/hers pronouns.」不輕易為自己定下性別取向的Longhaul，自小給人孤僻怪異感。因此，她曾度過一段極度封閉的時期。

在18歲時，Longhaul曾到商業紋身店刺青，但是次經歷令她相當不適。對她而言，這類店鋪有過度的「陽剛之氣」及親密感，這令敦默寡言的Longhaul非常不自在。自此，她決定向朋友自學刺青，並為對方以粗糙的針線來紋身。在Longhaul的角度，紋身不是一種裝飾，而是為身體留下強大印記的儀式。

I had a really hard time the whole time (I was going to school), but I had one year in particular that I just didn’t leave my room very much and just spent a lot of that time tattooing myself with this tattoo machine.

經歷長達一年的足不出戶，Longhaul用紋身機為自己刺青，並在身體不同的部分任意設計，並置入不同的故事。這種不受限制的無拘無束感，令她找到感情抒發的出口。

在她的紋身裡，充滿著神秘怪異感，更好像隱藏不同的暗示符號。原來，她自小對不同的小說及神話故事也相當著迷：「I am interested in the intersections of fiction, myth, and wildness with intimate/physical space; such as tattooing.」此外，她更堅信巫術思想，平日會研究不同的術語及魔法。因此，她把這些興趣融入在紋身裡頭，並設計出獨一無二的「女巫刺青」。

隨著身體上的紋身愈來愈多，而Loughaul的情緒亦漸漸好轉。當身邊人看到她的刺青時，也不禁被深深吸引著。以負空間的表現方式，加上複雜細膩的設計，如此衝擊視覺的紋身，絕對是世上獨一無二的！另外，Longhaul亦曾修讀版畫製作，過去亦有設計裝置藝術及木刻作品的經驗，令「女巫刺青」流露著一種前所未見的震撼美。

I try to have my tattoos feel as though they’re detailed to the point where every hair on the head is accounted for and paid attention to and loved, but for the extent of that chaos to total up to something that makes sense and is legible.

對Loughaul來說，「女巫刺青」並非一種紋身款式，而是一個故事，一個象徵意義。因為紋身，她最終學會釋放自己，並把自己的思想情感融入在內。這個充滿故事性的「女巫刺青」，你會想一試嗎？
