每週五「Love Yourself」專欄－趁著週末到來前，從她們身上學習一堂關於人生的課

去年的六月十號就是年輕創作歌手、The Voice歌唱比賽第三名的Christina Grimmie被瘋狂粉絲刺殺的日子。在美國舉辦演唱會後，槍手向Grimmie開了三槍，其後在現場自殺，於當晚十一時Grimmie宣告不治。如此突然的死訊，美國娛樂界紛紛表達哀悼。一年後的今天，來讓我們一起悼念這位擁有天籟歌喉的女歌手，一起重溫她的歌聲與說話。

八年前只有15歲的她，因好友建議而開始在YouTube上發布唱歌影片。直至上年7月，她已獲得超過365萬的訂閱者，而頻道的總觀看量也超過4.2億。一路走來，只有22歲的Christina Grimmie年紀輕輕，想法卻相當成熟，非常清楚知道自己的目標及方向，而且心靈更是既勇敢又堅強呢！

On Mentality

Be strong, be dumb, be funny, if that’s who you are. Don’t try to be someone that society wants you to be, that’s stupid. So be yourself.
（譯：如果你是堅強、愚鈍、搞笑，就繼續下去吧。不用做一個社會想你成為的人，那是真正的愚蠢。所以只管做自己就好。）

It’s okay to laugh at yourself sometimes, I do dumb things all the time. But when it get’s too personal, get your tough skin on and stand firm.
（譯：自嘲是可以的，我有時也很笨拙。不過有時候要懂得強硬起來，保護自己。）

People aren’t born strong. People Grown stronger little by little, encountering difficult situations learning not to run from them.
（譯：人不會生來就堅強。他們都是一步一步慢慢變強，學習遇到挫折不逃避。）

曾參加美國節目The Voice的她，在海選中已得到四位導師全部轉身的佳績，可見她的技驚四座的才華。而在比賽中，Grimmie的演唱歌曲更四度打推iTunes實時熱播榜前十位，因此取得額外票數。由12強起，Grimmie就屢次得到觀眾的投票而成功晉級，最後在決賽成為比賽第三名。這麼出色的觀眾緣大概歸功於大家對她良好態度的欣賞。

On Criticism

If it’s you passion and you want to do it for the rest of your life, why would comments stop you from doing that?
（譯：如果那是你的熱誠，是你想一輩子想做的事，為什麼要讓他人阻礙你呢？）

Confidence is not ‘they will like me’. Confidence instead is ‘I’ll be fine if they don’t ‘.
（譯：自信不是相信他人會喜歡自己。自信是知道就算他們不喜歡自己也會活得好好的。）

I’ve seen too many celebrities fall from their morals, and I wanna come up under that and be THAT girl that doesn’t need a scandal to make herself look better.
（譯：我看見太多藝人放棄品行，我想成為一個不需要花邊新聞的藝人。）

她逝世後，Selena Gomez、Justin Bieber、Adam Levine等藝人都表示不捨，Adam更替她支付身後事的費用，可見大家對Grimmie的疼惜。到現在也許大家都無法相信她已經去世的事實。的而且確，人生每一個瞬間都可以成為生命中最後一刻，我們要把握當下，好好珍惜身邊的一切。

But I also think it’s about a person’s personality that draws people in, too, not just their singing.
