A ‘selfie’ is what you probably already know, using the front camera to take photos of mostly – self-portrait photographs. Add the definition of the ‘stick’ you know to selfie, and there you go. A selfie stick is a long (mostly metal) stick made especially to fit the smart phones at the end of the stick, equipped with remote controls to take selfies at a further distance. Compared to a normal selfie taken by hand, a selfie with the help of a selfie stick can produce a better photo scope-wise, being able to capture several people and a large scale all in one photo.

The selfie stick was voted as this year’s best hit item, based on a survey by a Korean e-commerce platform ‘Auction.’ The prices have been cut down to only 3,000 won (22 HKD) from an initial price of 30,000 won, nearly ten times the price of the current price. In fact, it is not hard to find the selfie stick in Taobao where thousands of different selfie sticks are on sale on insanely cheap prices.

根據韓國電子交易平台「Auction」的問卷調查，自拍棒是本年度最暢銷產品，價錢由30,000韓圜降至3,000韓圜（大約港幣22元）。當然你也可以在淘寶找到成千上萬的款式，價錢也非常便宜。
