YOU’VE GOT A MESSAGE FROM #SPACE

Who would have ever thought to receive a message from space?

Who would have ever thought to receive a message from space? The distance barrier between countries has been demolished, but can technology cover the distance between earth and outer space? The answer is, yes. Space is no exception when it comes to social media. The International Space Station actively takes part in social media, such as Twitter, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. The first-ever Instagram selfie from space was posted on the International Space Station’s official Instagram account, with the caption ‘back on ISS, live is so good.’ The picture was taken from a cupola in the ISS, a bulged-out dome that offers incredible views of the galaxy.

ISS has an official Youtube channel but there’s this astronaut who became well known even more than the official channel. Chris Hadfield, a Canadian Astronaut, made a music video from space on his channel. He is seen singing the hit song ‘Space Oddity.’ Hadfield is known for posting interesting space videos on his Youtube channel and actively interacting with his twitter followers.
